Great Irish Pub on Cathedral Street! My family and I found this while searching online for a place to have dinner. This is another authentic Irish pub that you will enjoy. It was busy when we arrived, but despite how busy it was our food was served quickly. The food itself was delicious, well cooked, and reasonably priced. The atmosphere of the pub is amazing and friendly. The dishes my family and I had included two southern fried chicken wraps, the cob salad, the buttermilk golden fried chicken with chips, and the prime Irish beef burger. We all had dinner for less than 80 Euros. Try this place, you will love it.

Visit on Hurling Final Day We were staying at the Gresham Hotel around the corner and arrived on the Sunday of the All Ireland hurling final at nearby Croke Park. Consequently the pub was very busy with fans of both teams who were mingling freely. There was an excellent selection of beers which were quickly served at the bar, including an excellent Guinness. The inside has a great traditional look and ambiance, expecially after reading about its history on the pub's website. We managed to get an outside table where a young team member was efficient at taking our order. Despite being busy the food arrived quickly - we only ordered sandwiches as it was lunchtime, but these were excellent quality and great sized portions and value for money. Would have liked to have visited for an evening meal, but time didn't permit on this trip, but would definitely return when next in town.
